Friday, April 3rd will be the start of yard waste separation. All yard waste should be placed into biodegradable Kraft bags and placed to the curb on trash collection days. Tags ARE NOT needed on bags. Yard waste separation runs through Friday, September 25, 2026.
District Office - On the Go
Stop by the Borough Hall between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9th to meet with a staff member from State Representative Brett Miller’s office. Staff will be on hand to assist with state-related issues, services and programs. (Property/rent rebate forms, handicap placard applications, veterans issues and benefits, PennDOT paperwork, etc.) Appointments are encouraged but are not required. To schedule an appointment or to ask questions, contact Representative Miller's district office at 717.295.5050.
Mountville Borough Reorganization Meeting - Council Members Take the Oath of Office
On Monday, January 5, 2026 Mountville Borough held it's biennial reorganization meeting. Re-elected members included Steve Mitchell, Mayor; and Council members, Christine Eshleman and Phil Kresge. Geoffrey Hess was appointed to Council.
